Should Australia go first?Australia claims to be responsible for only a small part of global emissions. Does this mean that we do not need to cut emissions, especially if no one else is doing it? The answer is a clear no: Australia, like any other small country, has a historical obligation that arises from our past emissions and not just our current contribution to global pollution. |
